The Modern Bohemia:
America's Got Some Serious Wackadoos..

I've been known to enjoy the occasional variety show, predominantly featuring in the 60's-mid 70's, some of the greats really, like Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, Carol Burnett Show, Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, et cetera.. Those good old entertaining flufferies containing all sorts of acts jam packed into an hour time block. All well and good, yes?

And now onto America's Got Talent.

First, let's take a moment to mention the wit and sarcasm of Howie Mandel as he adds much to this show.

Simply put, this show is mish mosh of those older ones and a haphazard kitchen sink of some new other-worldly elements cobbled together to create this amazingly cracked out show of shows. And that's no bs. Everyone from these contortionistically futuristic dancers to hip old grandpas shaking it(and well to boot!) and further down the rabbit hole into a time rift brought to life in full color with the sheer oddities of vaudevillian burlesque and old world carnival theatricality...

This show... has it.

And so, if you enjoy the absurd, the spontaneous, and/or the wonderfully bizarre world of macabre performance art, then be all means,watch..watch..watch.

At most, you'll be highly entertained..

At the very least...in some instances.. you'll find it hard to look away.

Enjoy the visual feast, meine freunde~

I like that we've all found a new show to enjoy together. And that Prince Poppycock rocked my socks. Sorry I didn't like Hobo McCartney. :(

Lol. I'm not. He was a pale imitation of greatness.

..but his magic was like whoa.
